All of our teacher positions have been filled – but we are still looking to hire 2 more important members of the team. The first is for a “General School Assistant.” That basically means a full-time substitute teacher that works in our classrooms and can help out in the office. We are also looking for a full-time paraprofessional. If you or someone you know is interested – please call the office or email Mr. Stephens at james.stephensiii.mnps.org.
Everyone needs to bring their best smile on Friday. We are excited to be using a new company this year. This company uses “green screen” technology which allows you to customize your picture. The only downside is – students can’t wear green! If they do – their clothes will disappear into the background and you may not get the school picture you were hoping for.
Pictures will be taken in the morning. There will be a makeup day in September for anyone who can’t make it on Friday.
What a great first week it’s been. It’s been fun watching the kids catch up with their friends and get back into the swing of things at school.

Nashville Creative House and West End Middle School are proud to present Alice this December. Auditions will be a cold read – so nothing to prepare in advance.
Auditions: August 17th 4:00p – 5:30p
Rehearsals on Wednesdays from 4-5
The cost is $125 but scholarships are available to anyone that needs it.
