Attending West End

West End is a traditional public school in the Hillsboro High cluster, serving families living in the following Nashville neighborhoods (or portions thereof):

  • Cherokee Park
  • Edgehill
  • Hillsboro-West End
  • Sylvan Park/Sylvan Heights
  • Richland/West End
  • Gulch/Midtown/Music Row
  • West End Park

To find out if you are zoned for West End, use the MNPS Zone Finder online tool or call 615-259-INFO.

West End also accepts students from other parts of Davidson County through the Optional Schools Application (“lottery”) process. Click here for more information.

As part of our district’s ReimaginED initiative, West End transitioned from a grades 5-8 middle school to a grades 6-8 middle school in the 2022-23 school year.

All prospective families are encouraged to visit our school to take a tour of the beautiful campus and to learn more about the outstanding academic and extracurricular opportunities available. An Open House for prospective families is held every fall (typically in early November), and there are special events for students attending our two feeder elementary schools, Eakin and Sylvan Park. If you would like to schedule a personal tour, please email us at westendptso@gmail.com.
