IB learners are well rounded. At the beginning of the school year, students choose between participating in the related arts rotation or participating in band. Those who choose the related arts rotation will receive instruction in physical and health education; American sign language; and multimedia arts. Band students attend band practice every day during the related arts period.
- Although band students do not have PE, time for physical activity is built in to every student’s daily schedule during lunch.
- Clubs, most of which meet weekly after school, provide additional opportunities for students to learn about other cultures, pursue their interests/gain new skills in the arts, and become more physically fit.
