Clubs

The school and PTSO are pleased to offer a variety of clubs each year. These clubs, which meet before, during, and after school, provide additional opportunities for learning and development, with particular emphasis on physical education, the arts, and technology.

Fall 2022 clubs are listed below. We hope to add more clubs soon, so be sure to check back for updates.

Drama Club

Nashville Creative House and West End Middle School are proud to present Alice this December. Auditions will be a cold read – so nothing to prepare in advance.

Auditions: August 17th 4:00p – 5:30p

Rehearsals on Wednesdays from 4-5

The cost is $125 but scholarships are available to anyone that needs it.

Garden Club

Garden Club is responsible for planting and maintaining the school garden. We also explore creative ways to use plants–both those we grow and those we find around campus–in cooking and crafting.

Meets: Thursdays, 4-5 PM, starting September 8, 2022

Sponsor/Teacher: Will Sanford (former West End parent and long-time garden coordinator/maintainer)

Ukulele Club

Did you know West End has a Ukulele Club? The club is perfect for anyone that’s interested – no musical ability required! Classes will be taught by Dana Pirzchalski – the owner of The Song Spot. Dana graduated from Belmont University and is an avid musician. She is also trained in autism and behavioral support – so all students are welcome.
