Thank you for INVESTing in your child’s education!
INVEST in WEST is our PTSO’s annual fundraising effort with donations going to support academic programming, sports, music, arts and technology. As a community, our goal is to raise $25,000 in support of our West End family.
Invested funds support:
All MNPS middle school students experience rich content though core academic areas in English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies with all learning goals aligned to TN state academic standards. That’s a given. But we know that students learn more when they are invested in real-world problem solving, which is the intent of West End’s International Baccalaureate education.
Multimedia Advancements
West End already has one of the flagship multimedia and technology programs among MNPS middle schools. Invest funds will ensure students have access to the newest equipment and programs.
Immersive Field Trips
6th and 7th grade students will embark in a 3-day national park field trip. Invest funds provide scholarships to ensure all students have access to field trips.
City-Wide Storytelling
Our students are on the cutting edge of art, music, sports, and academics. Invest funds will amplify and celebrate their stories throughout Nashville.
Student-Led Activities
Students are learning who they are and what they’re willing to try in Middle School. Invest funds will provide flexible financial support for groups of students to create space to try new things.
Ways to Give:
You can visit the West End PTSO website to donate to the Invest in West Campaign with a one-time or monthly donation.
To give using CashApp, please visit https://cash.app/$wemsptso
Don’t forget to connect your student(s) name and grade with your donation to help their grade level on its Quest to Invest – Battle of the Grade Levels. The grade level with the most money raised and the highest percentage of participation will receive prizes!
We thought you’d never ask!
